About 2008 Kia Sorento
The 2008 Kia Sorento sports a new, 3.3-liter V-6 engine in the LX trim model that produces 242 horsepower, 228 lb.-ft. of torque along with a 3,500-pound towing capacity and standard safety features. The 2008 Sorento trim models include the LX and EX.

An authentic sport utility vehicle, the Sorento features body-on-frame construction with nine crossmembers, a double wishbone front suspension and a five-link solid rear axle. A long wheelbase and wide track provide a comfortable ride and excellent stability in all driving situations, while the short front and rear body overhangs enhance off-roading.

Kia Sorento is available in both two-wheel- and four-wheel-drive configurations. The two-wheel-drive version directs power to the rear wheels, while the 4WD includes a part-time or Torque-on-Demand automatic full-time four-wheel-drive system.

There are no interior or exterior changes for the 2008 Kia Sorento. Standard comfort and convenience features on all but the price leader model include air conditioning, power windows/door locks/heated mirrors, cruise control, 10-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system, full overhead console with sunglass storage, map lights and garage door opener pocket, four 12V power outlets, eight-way adjustable driver's seat, 60/40 split flip-and-fold rear seats, rear privacy glass, cargo cover, roof rails and keyless entry with alarm.
